I was really in love with this game until I got to the doubles challenges Pair of Aces Game will not stop crashing I am really starting to get disgusted with the game Please do an update or something           On Crash Control

Probably the best tennis game out there for iPad and iPhone Cons 1 Needs a multiplayer mode in exhibition section 2 Needs a CPU mode in the head to head section 3 You cannot ace down the T Aces can only occur if you serve wide and your chances are best when you stand in the doubles alley A way to ace down T needs to be added 4 In professional mode the game is too cross court focused As long as you cover the cross court and continue to hit cross court the CPU will always hit down the line 5 I like the idea of having players with one handed backhands but you should be able to choose between one hand and two hand 6 A final national tournament needs to be included I like the technique of the players and it is great for showing kids how to turn shoulders and follow through except for backhand volleys The players always drop the racquet head on the backhand volleys Retool animation to keep the racket head up on the backhand volley All in all I still think the game deserves 45 stars              Ilovetennis

The story aspect is interesting but the writing is terrible and trite The controls are inexact at best and downright frustrating at worst Pass on this one even if its free        Dumb story bad controls

this is the best of the various racquetsport apps ive tried out thee things make me rate this 4 stars instead of 5 1 i find doubles mode really tough and its not well covered in the tutorial info 2 for exhibition matches id like to be able to give my character a name of my choice 3 it would be good to have another higher skill level for CPU players for a while i didnt think i could beat a Professional level Aggressive Baseliner but once i learned a good strategy its now pretty easy and the other player types are even easier it took a while to get good at the game and i enjoyed it but now that it can easily beat all the players and ive finished all the episodes the game is not nearly as much fun i could use a new challenge oh and throughout the comic book introduction scenes the characters use the word looser when they mean loser              best racquet game

Please fix episode 10 Its been crashing every time I play it so much so that I save the game every time a team scores The cause might be from using 2 fingers when I use the lob as Ive noticed the camera also goes haywire at times Ep11 closes the game as well Ill give it 5 stars when it is resolved Thanks           Episode 10 crashing

This is by far the best tennis simulation game It doesnt take too long to figure out the controls and then it is really fun and addicting Im hoping new levels will be available soon Highly recommended                 Best tennis simulation game

The camera keeps flickering badly It flickers badly enough to mess up shots and the app even freezes during a game This isnt so bad at the easier levels but when you near the end the games are long and tough Flickering by the camera is a significant challenge to overcome because you cant see a thing when this happens It is as if someone is walking in front of the camera I have made sure all other apps are not running in the background and this is on an ipad3 The two stars are because the game itself is fun when the freezing or flickering doesnt happen However these bugs happen frequently enough to seriously affect gameplay and enjoyment It is hard to win when the camera keeps going bonkers and not letting you see the court I will be keeping this app for a little bit in hopes of an update but will probably delete it if there is no fix in the near future        Buggy

Head to head is really bad though A better concept would be to scrap the table top mode and go with local network or bluetooth hth mode so shot vectors arent being seen by the opponent and the playing avatars are not little specs on the screen           Decent single player experience

Update 13 The Motion Tennis ad pops up every single timethe app starts and is annoying The CPU gets points sometime when it is serving and makes a fault There was a game in which the CPU made 4 faults and won Update 12 The graphic is much better but lack the detail which is obvious on the new iPad Adds local push notification which is both intrusive and annoying Still need to sweep through pages of comic every time you play a level The headtohead mode is unplayable The court should be stretched to fill most of the screen and line detection needs big improvement Bottom line Save 399 If you install the iPhone version on your iPad it is as good as this HD version Old review I have the iPhone version and I love it I expected the iPad version to have something new giving that it is a separate app and is more expensive Well it turned out that this iPad version just have a new layout Other than that there isnt nothing new I expected The head to head mode to be remade for ipad but it is not The graphic is scaled up from the iPhone app and is not optimized for the new iPad The players faces are pixelated and look terrible All in all iPhoneiPad versions both be combined as a univeral app If you own the iPhone version skip this and use that Otherwise this is okay It is a good game anything           Not worth the additional money

Simply put I cant make the moves I would like to and almost always end up screwing up Perhaps a bit more of fidelity to where you actually make the moves would help or some indication of how big the swipes need to be There is no point in trying to play a game that you cant figure the controls out unless youre aiming at the center           Great idea but I cant play it

This is a decent gamebut theres a bug in Episode 4 the singles match against the girl Specifically in the second game against her when she serves that prevents her from getting any serves in playand not only thatshe only faults once and the game jumps her to the other court without recording any double faults At that point the game is stuck in an infinite loop of 1 bad serve by the girl 2 the girl runs in place 3 she doesnt get to serve her second serve 4 she just jumps to the next court like from the deuce court to the Ad court and the score always stays at 00 So you can never win or even lose the second game of the match Please fix it since was pretty entertaining up to that point        Bug in Episode 4

As a lifelong tennis player who has tried all the top tennis games in the App Store this one is by far closest to the real experience of playing If you want to feel like Nadal then the Sega tennis game might be a better choice If you want to actually feel like youre on the court battling it out for every point where small errors of timing and aim will decide the match then this is the way to go In summation if you play tennis in real life and want the same experience on your ipad this is it If you want to feel like a tennis god maybe look elsewhere Lastly in response to other reviews Im on match 6 with no bugs or glitches on an iPad mini retina so either those have been worked out or perhaps this game runs better with a faster processor                 Best iOS tennis game
