Its a good app works great for a quick check on the river levels                 Great app
Gave us much peace of mind that we could see lake river levels upstream incoming flows during heavy rains Thank you                 Monitor flood near flood conditions
I love this app and use it all the time helps to know the local river readings in my area and when the rivers are at the right stage for fishing                 Outdoorsman
I like this app because it will tell me when the River get really dangerous                 Informative App
Cool app uncluttered and to the point I like being able to check levels before going out and also have it at my fingertips I saw a review commenting on battery life but Ive had no issue Im using a 5 Havent bought the inapp part yet but leaning towards it so I can look at forecasts further out              very handy
This is a follow up to the post below after additional usage The gauges and graphs are more plentiful and accurate from the app I was using before I am confident enough that I am deleting the prior app This is nicely done While I mostly watch a few key flows the map version allows me to check where the water is entering the drainages I follow When checking areas I not as familiar with finding where the gauges are on the rivers is even better                 Nicely Done
This app makes it easy to find station points in your area to check water levels It does house all water sheds that I know are being measured around Louisville This can be a good tool when planning CanoeKayak trips I am disappointed though that CFS is not being tracked at most station points in this app even though it is being tracked by the USGS Most creeks are locally rated in CFS to determine navigability difficulty The app is greatly hindered without this data USGS websites also track water temperature which Ive found is essential to check if you plan on fishing or just taking the kids out One thing that this app is missing along with all the other like minded apps in the App Store Notification System I should be allowed to set up ideal water levels at specific station points and have the app alert me when my desired water levels are met Pros Great Interface measures Gage Height Cons Does not measure CFS or Temperature Possible Improvements Added Notification System This app is worth the cost even with its limitations It can be worth a lot more with a few additions           More Intuitive than all other apps
I fish the river near my house as often as I can often over 100 days a year Rivercast is worth buying the premium upgradeit works well and I use it a lot Anyone into fishing kayaking or boating would love this app                 Very useful app
The ability to define levels is very helpful and graphically showing when rivers are most fishable The only request I would have is to be able to add notes or a log on each river Still its the best river level app Ive found yet                 Excellent
Awesome              Review
Love the display of river gage height Very useful                 Works Great
Very easy to use                 Great app
Greatly appreciate the ability to reorder favs Thank you                 Great app
Great tool for tracking river flows in your favorite streams including forecasts                 Terrific AP
If you float or fly fish any river this is a must ap better than the usgs ap that seems to always have issues                 Excellent
I live 50 feet from a river that floods a bit several times a year and major floods with evacuations ever few years River cast keeps me abreast and Im happy to use it                 Rivercast is the Greatest
I previously used another app for river data mostly to get a daily estimate if the bridge construction site were working on was flooded Im an engineer intern I was disappointed when that app disappeared from the App Store and then from my phone when I had to back it up However in my short time using this app it seems to have all the features I liked on the other app and a nicer interface to boot The 299 upgrade is worth it to get historical data past 30 days and also to stop being asked to upgrade constantly Overall recommended                 So far so good
I think this app is good but I wish you could search by the USGS station number I know it says look up by the 5 digit number but I dont know where you get this Also I wish in the favorites view that the name of the station would display all of the characters It is hard to tell one station from another when the name is only partially displayed except for on the map screen Lastly it would be nice if you could view the most recent flow and height data from the favorites screen for quick updates           Good but could be better
The fact that this app deals only with stage height and does not also display actual flow rates ie CFS is an important limitation     Serious Limitation
I watched river levels for flooding and this app is fantastic You can even put a cursor on the level and track                 Awesome app
Nice graphics Up to date info Very helpful                 Very good app
This app works just as it says And its free It gets updated as fast as ODFW does so you can even watch levels and flows while on the river I definitely recommend                 Awesome App
I use this app to provide river level and stream flow data to know if its safe or possible to fly fish in the local rivers and streams Being able to set custom levels is very handy App works great its literally been a lifesaver                 Very useful
Instant results and with the favorites list theres no looking up your area each time you use it the information is spot on and up to date me and my husband use it a lot because we both love fishing Every fisherman needs this app                 Every Fisherman Needs this App
One thing really puzzles me about the graphs How do rivers run negative flows The charts allow for this when you zoom Since there cant be negative flow it shouldnt show that              One thing that needs work
This keeps me up to date on all rivers and creeks in my area at all times Thanks for the App Nice job                 Love this app
Good app but needs to show headwater and tail water                 good app but
So much easier to use than that other flow app Great graphs that quickly show history and predictions Thanks                 Sweet and easy
This app makes checking river levels a breeze Before I head out kayaking I always check this app                 Very Useful for Kayaking
Love this app Live on the river data is very useful to judge and determine lake levels The developer is responsive and informative Cant wait for all the updates to surrounding areas Great great great job Thanks Worth every penny and a whole bunch more                 Great app
Easy to use very useful during this time when the Red River south has risen to flood levels in NW Louisiana not seen in the past 70 years                 Walt
Ive cross referenced the outputs of flows from this app with the USGS south fork Boise river and this app is usually off by about 600 CFS which can be quite a big difference on a small river Please fix        Not sure how accurate
Great little app to have if your going to be on a River I own a canoe livery and I use it everyday to check River conditions                 River data
App shows current readings as well as forecasts with the inapp purchase So far so good Im happy with it                 Works great
I am a professional who uses this app any time the rivers flood in my area Even though there are means out there to see hydrographs Rivercast allows you to zoom and trace the values something that cannot be done else where With the new update you can even add the different flood levels to the hydrograph which is an awesome feature by itself I have spoke with the developers and they are great people If you live anywhere along a river or work in law enforcementpublic works and deal with flooding this is a great app to have on your phone or iPad                 Perfect App for Monitoring River Flooding
Awesome site for someone on the water as much as I am What happened to my upgrade I paid for If I have to pay for another I wont be too happy              What happened to my upgrade
This app has 2 great things going for it Forecasts and the ability to add your own stages to the graph Ive tried most river apps and this is the best                 Worth a cup of coffee
Simple and easy to use The forecast feature allows me to plan my trips ahead Love this app                 Great app
Does not give accurate data USGS Provides the flow and levels to pull from This application is always off by at least 6800 cfs        Inaccurate data
Real time stages for up to the minute marks for bar books and tow size regulations A must have for the professional river pilot                 Towboaters review
As far as stream gage apps go this app has a great map feature to show the other gages in the area with locational services That is much better than the pain of tapping through a series of lists to find a stream Now the bad this app is missing gages Where are they All of the USGS sites should be here And I want to see average flows Those fixes earn 34 stars Ive been searching for an app that will do advanced calcs Seems like this app has ability to show flood stage at some sites but I want to know flood interval stages for 2 5 10 25 50 and 100year projections where possible Since it has the map feature what would be truly awesome is the ability to drag a gage up or downstream and display an interpretation of discharge for the stream based on watershed size That would require a watershed database to make those calcs but I would pay ten bucks for that        Great map interface missing sites data
